Amanda Pfeifer

After studying Graphic Design at the Art Institute of Washington in Arlington, Virginia, I relocated to the Bay Area to finish my major at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. In June of 2017, I was offered a fantastic opportunity as a Graphic Designer sitting at Marcus & Millichap headquarters in Calabasas, California. Having a fine art background, becoming a creative was always a goal, dream, and passion.

I am originally from Fairfax, Virginia where my family still resides. Moving to the Bay Area resulted after the flip of a coin; a toss up between Manhattan and San Francisco. With my most recent relocation to the LA area, I have fallen in love with new adventures, more challenges, and the major growth waiting for me in the next steps of my career. Enjoying everything the west coast has to offer, I've become an avid kayaker, while still maintaining deep connections with my roots in painting, drawing, writing, mixed media abstract work, charcoals, photography, book binding, DIY crafts, and freelancing.

Accomplishments of mine include the publication of The Art of Modeling Chocolate (GOFF BOOKS, 2014)the branding and identity for Champion Point in Santa Clara, California (Cushman & Wakefield, 2015), and the website of basketball player Rudy Gay of the Memphis Grizzlies in 2011 (Octagon Entertainment).
